Weight Loss Tip 71: Add Almonds- The Warrior Food

Almonds are top on the list of foods that fight the flab and battle the bulge.
They can actually help to prevent the cravings that lead to overeating and weight gain. What’s more is that they are filled with protein and fiber, not to mention vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant. These mighty miracles are also a good source of magnesium, a mineral your body must have in order to produce energy, build and maintain muscle tissue, and regulate blood sugar.
Research has also been done on the almonds ability to block calories. That’s right, the composition of their cell walls may help reduce the absorption of all of their fat, making lean with an added punch.
Try adding an ounce a day (about 24 almonds 150 calories) to you arsenal.

Cheat! That’s right, CHEAT.
Let yourself off the hook from time to time. Loosing weight is a life long commitment. Being healthy can include ice cream. The trick is to cheat. Not to indulge everyday, every meal or snack but only when you have earned it or when you would really feel deprived.
Portion control is always important. Especially when it comes to satisfying cravings. Don’t go overboard or you’ll regret it.
Stick to your healthy eating plan most of the time and cheat with discretion!
